You supply your telescope and our team manages installation on purpose-built piers. Once commissioned, your system is ready for use whenever the sky allows, with automated roof systems providing access to dark skies on demand.

Additional telescopes can be mounted via piggyback or side-by-side configuration at 50% of pier rental cost, or you can rent a separate full pier for independent operation.

Yes. Equipment is housed in a secure, purpose-built remote observatory with gating, surveillance, and 24/7 monitoring of power, connectivity, and operational status.

Routine maintenance is included monthly at no extra charge. Advanced support is available at $75 AUD per hour for specialised work like collimation or mechanical adjustments.

You'll need to provide: telescope, mount, imaging camera, guide scope and camera, control computer, cables, power supplies, and mounting hardware (polar pins, flange screws, adapters).

Label all components, include setup photos and packing lists, prepare equipment by removing focusers and cameras, use original boxes where possible, wrap generously in bubble wrap, and document condition with photos before shipping.

Yes. We strongly recommend insuring your equipment before sending it to us. All shipping risk belongs to the customer; the facility cannot reimburse losses.

Yes. EQ6-R and similar single-bolt mounts are accepted with a one-time machining fee of $259. Custom two-tier pier plates are manufactured in-house. Third-party adapters require pre-approval.

Testing is recommended but not mandatory. Our technicians are fully capable of assembling and configuring completely new or never-used systems, with advanced support available at $75/hour if needed.
